Defense Day: Block A Wall
The adrenaline from this weekend's thrilling match between the San Diego Toreros and the UC Davis Aggies at the USC Galen Center has me energized to share today's drill with you. The match was an epic five-game showdown and undoubtedly the highlight of my day.

I felt, the match was won on missed blocks. So today, we're diving into a 24-minute drill that's all about enhancing your blocking skills.
Block A Wall Drill:
1. Find a wall or a mirror.
2. Crank up an energetic, high-tempo song.
3. Let's get to work:
- Perform 10 Standing Jump Blocks.
- Follow it up with 10 Side-step Block Jumps.
- Conclude with 10 Cross-step Block Jumps.
4. Repeat this circuit for a solid 24 minutes.
Pro Tip:
Elevate your blocking game by ensuring your shoulders reach up to your ears with each jump.
Snack:
Once you've completed this invigorating workout, it's time for a well-deserved snack.
If you have grapes on hand, they're an excellent choice to refuel.
